Since 2001, his unique style has
enabled him to join the ranks of the top wedding photographers in
Myrtle Beach, Pawleys Island, Murrells Inlet and Charleston. He has been a resident of Pawleys
Island
for the past 10 years and has lived in the Myrtle Beach area a total of 18
years, working extensively as a freelance photographer for local companies such
as Burroughs & Chapin, Inc., AVX and Marriott Vacation Club Int'l.
He relocated as part of a family move to the area and
has acquired greater knowledge of Coastal Carolina’s beauty each year.
Largely self-taught, he studied art and
photography in New York at the School of Visual Arts and SUNY in the 1980’s,
and learned the tricks and tools of the trade from established graphic and photo
professionals. Since that time he has been
an active source of freelance work for many individuals and organizations,
including several Fortune 500 companies, seeing his contributions
published nationally and featured in major in-house and advertising campaigns -
and has excelled at delivering quality illustration and photographic assignments
on tight deadlines. His diverse background enables him to produce images
that stand the test of time.
He has pursued the digital photography dream since the earliest DSLR camera
systems hit the market. Experience with film prior to that
has given him a well-rounded understanding of photographic methods, as well as
an edge in creativity. An early proponent of digital photography, he was
one of the first to utilize the medium professionally in the Myrtle Beach area and has realized the advantages and increased customer satisfaction that
it offers.
Realizing also the importance of local
networking, he has established successful long term working relationships
